Had a lot of interesting characters with ther own distinct motivations and personalities, and kept things moving through some surprising twists. Kept me up late to finish it!

Ordered this as a surprise for my wife. It came quicker than expected, great condition, signed and wonderful.
The cover is cute, the plot is engaging, and we are looking forward to reading more!

This read had me on a rollercoaster ride of emotions.

I got enraged because of the injustice of it all, I felt anger at the way opinions were imposed, I got truly sad at the violations taking place, I was jubilous when we reached the find out stage, and reading this was not only enjoyment there was some enlightenment as well.

I had to remind myself at various points in time that this was fiction, because the writing was so vivid I saw it all taking place when reading. Mr. Redmond truly wrote the mess out of this book, and I can't wait to read more.

The only criticism I have of this book is that I wish there was more of it. I wish there was a prequel, and that the action moved more slowly, so that we could spend longer just immersed in this little part of the rich, incredible world Nicky Dryden created. I am excited to read the sequel, but still wish we could have lingered here longer.

With "She Who Knows" and "One Way Witch," Dr. Okorafor has crafted works of such lean intensity and nearly unplumbable depth that I had to smile in pleasure even as horrific events unfold. To extend the story of "Who Fears Death" both backward and forward in this way is a wonderful gift, and I'm saddened (a little bit) that I'll never get to read them for the first time more than once.

I really enjoyed Womb City. It starts off slow to introduce you to this dystopian Botswana and Nelah's world. The second half of the book is intense and very fast pace. If you enjoy sci-fi, horror, or speculative fiction; I would recommend you get your hands on this book.
